These two pairs of socks were knit with Happy Feet, dk yarn. I gifted both pair for Christmas as presents.
The left I call Strawberry Shake, hence pink and mute pink colors. And on the right is Amish Night. Knitted toe up and with gusseted heel. SOCKS FROM THE TOE UP, Wendy D. Johnson's instructions on the how to do so.

Spinning Days

I am spinning my days with the Ashford Traditional, making BFL roving into 2 ply yarns. The roving is a creamy natural and I will be dyeing it at another time. 15-18 wpi. Needle size for knitting between 1-3, whatever suits the gauge. Hand spun sock yarns. Yummy!

With this blog I intend to use to post hand spun yarns, hand painted yarns, etc. I have a goal in mind for what I want to do once it is finished. I will have to work many months to get enough spun up for next year, for selling, maybe at festivals or maybe a farmer's market. Only the proverbial time will tell. Fiber in the diet is healthy.
